Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented Crew Controller, to become a key member of our Crew Controlling Team by playing a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and a positive crew experience within our company. And that could be you! Curious what your responsibilities would look like?

1. Thorough Operational Control Centre Briefing:

• Provide a comprehensive briefing to the Operational Control Centre, highlighting ongoing crew issues, roster changes, or critical information.
  • Highlight any potential challenges and proposed solutions to maintain operational efficiency.

1. Intermediary for Smooth Information Flow:
   • Act as the intermediary between crews, flights, and all relevant departments to ensure a smooth flow of information regarding requests, swaps, sickness, technical problems, delays, extra flights, etc.
   • Facilitate effective communication channels to address issues promptly.
2. Professional Roster Communication:
   • Contact crew members professionally, conveying roster changes in a concise and objective manner.
3. Proactive Operation Monitoring:
   • Proactively monitor the operation while minimizing the impact on crew roster.
   • Ensure that all changes in the flight schedule or crew composition are addressed promptly, considering flight safety and cost efficiency.
   • Implement solutions that maintain continuity in flight operations.
4. Hotel and Crew Transport Adaptation:
   • Responsibly adapt hotel reservations when required, considering additional crew or technicians.
   • Coordinate changes in crew transport arrangements, ensuring timely adjustments based on operational needs.

Where do you land?

You’ll be part of Crew Controlling team, consisting of 14 passionate and talented crew control professionals.

You will report directly to your Crew Control Shift Leader.

Your profile

Mandatory Requirements:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent through experience.
• Proficient in ALL following languages : English, French and Dutch.
• Experienced in using daily Microsoft Office tools.

Desired Skills and Qualities:
• Ability to analyse complex schedules and foresee potential issues.
• Make informed decisions to optimize crew resources and handle disruptions efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with various departments and communicate changes to the crew effectively.
• Ability to handle the pressures of real-time coordination and disruption management.
• Able and willing to work in shifts and during weekends in the dynamic nature of the aviation industry and changing operational requirements.

Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with the usage of Crew Management Systems; good knowledge of EASA ORO FTL .
