Job overview and responsibilities
The Analyst – Tooling Standards and Support is responsible for providing a tooling allocation for each station using AI techniques based on overall maintenance mission and fleet departure schedule. Works closely with Forecasting team and Tooling Planners to translate aircraft system-level requirements to station allocations. Analyst is also responsible for supporting his/her manager preparing funding proposals, monitoring tooling aircraft forecasts and tracking allocation plan performances, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Reviews and validates system-level tooling requirements provided by Forecasting group and provides feedback to fine-tune models
- Consolidates and develops station-level allocation recommendations using AI and advanced forecasting techiniques and works hand-in-hand with Tooling Planners to create long-term allocations and provide guidance on short-term procurement plans
- Conducts financial analyses based on tooling allocation plans to support development of budget proposals and prepare AFEs required to fund in-scope projects
- Tracks metrics that will support decision-making for improvement of quality and timeliness of station-level allocations (e.g. Tooling OOS events, missed allocation opportunities)
Supports continuous improvement efforts to further improve and streamline processes and forecast/plan performances

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Industrial Engieering
- Data analysis and visualization software (Foundry, PowerBI, Spotfire or similar); SQL; Excel
- 2+Years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Data Analytics
- Very strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of forecasting, data structures, relationships, and efficient transformations
- Demonstrated use of AI and other learning algorithms and techniques
- Knowledge and application of data visualization best practices
- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
