Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, virtual machines, networks, and data storage systems.

Lead and mentor the IT systems team by assigning tasks, promoting best practices, and supporting professional growth.

Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting to ensure high performance, security, and availability of systems.

Coordinate and manage IT projects such as system upgrades, network enhancements, and new technology integrations, ensuring timely delivery.

Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.

Requirements:

Top Secret Clearance Required

Education and experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor s degree).

9+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination (e.g., PhD + 4 years, Master s + 7 years, or 13 years of relevant experience)

Active Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).

Experience administering Linux/Unix or Windows platforms.

5+ years of experience troubleshooting complex network issues.

5+ years of experience communicating technical concepts to customers in both written and verbal formats across various forums.

Strong experience with both RedHat Linux and Microsoft Windows servers, including installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.

Proven ability to manage and secure server environments, ensuring performance, availability, and scalability.

Knowledge of advanced IT features including virtualization, automation, and patch management, with the ability to integrate systems into a cohesive infrastructure.

Extensive experience applying Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) standards, including Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

Skilled in system hardening and vulnerability mitigation in alignment with military and federal cybersecurity standards.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
