Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to perform inspections, repairs, services, and modifications to the helicopters electrical systems. The role involves servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all avionics systems that manage communications, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition, and automatic flight control systems. The technician will also handle AC and DC power generation, conversion, distribution systems, and aircraft batteries. The position requires working overtime and traveling as needed, as well as fulfilling other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, repairs, services, and modifications to the helicopters electrical systems.
- Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all avionics systems including communications, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition, and automatic flight control systems.
- Service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and adjust AC and DC power generation, conversion, distribution systems, and aircraft batteries.
- Work overtime and travel as needed.
- Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills- Extensive knowledge and experience in avionics and helicopter avionics troubleshooting and repair.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in avionics.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles as applied to aviation/aircraft.
- Ability to use and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and technical publications.
- A&P Licenses are strongly preferred.
- Current FAA Sign-offs or A OR P License are highly desirable.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with Avionics installation and electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot electronics and avionics systems.
- Familiarity with wiring, wire harness, and schematics.

Work Environment
This position is located at an FAA Part 145 Completions & Repair Facility. You will be working on aircrafts such as AW139, A119, and A109. The work environment is dynamic, and you will be expected to adhere to high standards of safety and precision.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.
