Contract Position
Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
Software Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace and Defense company. As an Advanced Software Engineer you will be responsible for Linux Driver Development for the next generation of Cryptographic and Cross Domain Solutions
Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to the software development lifecycle for cryptographic systems and secure communication platforms
Design and implement Linux kernel drivers for embedded systems
Integrate solutions on Xilinx SoCs, including Zynq Ultrascale+ and Versal using PetaLinux
Apply kernel-level debugging techniques to support low-level driver and system performance
Support development with Linux networking and routing configurations
Propose and implement high-quality, high-performing solutions with minimal input
Collaborate with systems, hardware, and firmware teams in an Agile development environment
Champion technology innovations and process improvements
Contribute to professional development of team members through mentoring and technical leadership
Qualifications:
- U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Masters degree and 3+ years of job-related experience.
- 5+ years experience developing Linux Kernel Drivers for embedded systems
- Skilled in kernel driver debugging techniques required
- Capable of proposing high quality and high performing solutions with minimal input
- Ability to lead the software development process
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Petalinux/Xilinx SoC (Zynq Ultrascale+/Versal) a plus
- Experience with Linux Networking/Routing a plus
- Experience with Docker and podman on Linux a plus
- Experience with Windriver Linux a plus
