About the Role
The role involves certifying aircraft release to service, supervising maintenance work, and coordinating with technical and operational stakeholders to maintain high maintenance quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
Release an aircraft to service after the satisfactory completion of maintenance activities.
Guide and support mechanics during maintenance tasks, providing technical direction and oversight.
Supervise maintenance performed by mechanics under supervision, ensuring it is carried out correctly and safely.
Apply approved methods, techniques, and practices from manufacturer maintenance manuals or other authority-accepted sources.
Use proper tools, equipment, and test apparatus to complete maintenance in line with industry and manufacturer standards.
Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed within the available maintenance downtime.
Certify and release maintenance documentation upon satisfactory completion of work, maintaining proper records.
Record maintenance details or references accurately in the aircraft technical log system.
Liaise with customers and other departments within Royal Jordanian; participate in quality inspections as needed.
Adhere to approved maintenance data and obtain prior authorization for any deviation in accordance with the MOE.
Ensure all safety, quality, and occupational health precautions are properly followed during maintenance.
Comply with company procedures and uphold Royal Jordanian’s code of ethics and professional standards.
Notify Quality Assurance immediately of any condition that could affect flight or personnel safety.
