Role Summary
* In this role, you will develop, maintain, and release electrical and mechanical drawings, system designs, and engineering documentation while supporting laboratory system build activities in an on-site engineering environment. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* Education and experience typically acquired through an Associate degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* An electrical background with working knowledge of electrical systems.
* Experience with wire installation and routing.
* The ability to develop, modify, and maintain electrical or mechanical drawings and system designs.
* Experience preparing and updating engineering documentation in accordance with company, industry, and governmental standards.
* The ability to assist in identifying design discrepancies and support system design validation activities.
* The ability to coordinate with internal partners and external suppliers.
* U.S. Person status for export compliance purposes. Preferred Skills

* Experience performing electrical installation in commercial or industrial settings. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Develop, maintain, and release electrical and mechanical drawings and engineering documentation.
* Prepare design layouts and modify existing designs to support system development.
* Incorporate design changes using standard design tools.
* Support engineering system design and functionality validation activities.
* Develop and maintain product installation and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex.
* Assist with building laboratory systems, including wire bundles and component installations.
* Troubleshoot systems to confirm proper installation and safe operation.
* Coordinate activities and deliverables with internal teams and external suppliers.
* Work under general direction while meeting program and engineering requirements.
