Roles and Responsibilities

As an IR engineer, you will:

• Become knowledgeable with respect to IR inspection equipment and processes
• Engage with design, materials, and manufacturing engineering teams to define inspection requirements and assess inspectability
• Develop, validate, and deploy non-destructive inspection techniques
• Perform IR inspections, document and communicate results to customers
• Train to achieve Level 3/CA certification in IR
• Mature additional NDT methods such as Terahertz, as needed
• Provide technical support to Supply Chain inspection sources
• Perform lean, cost reduction, and problem solving activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet business commitments
• Ability and willingness to support occasional travel

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of Non-destructive Testing experience.
