Arconic is currently in search of Engineering and Maintenance Leader to join our Facilities Department based in New Kensington, PA.

Job Summary:
This position will encompass leading the engineering and maintenance personnel groups, supporting and developing new and existing site infrastructure including preventative maintenance plans, risk analysis, equipment and infrastructure design control, equipment procurement and validations, as well as management of all capital expenditures. Key challenges will include the management of staff, contractor management, project scope development and execution, and the building infrastructure plan for the site. This role will report to the Facilities Manager.
In this role, you will:
- Manage a highly qualified team of engineers and maintenance technicians supporting the operations, improvements, and sustainability of site infrastructure and processes.
- Provide strategic ownership of maintenance operations identifying efficiencies and cost savings opportunities against financial plans while incorporating HP tools into daily activities.
- Management of the annual and 5-year capital portfolio plans, project and expense budgets, and project execution supporting production, R&D processes, and infrastructure improvements of the facility.
- Develop scopes of work, providing appropriate and cost-effective options and recommendations for solutions related to capital projects, mechanical and electrical solutions, and upset conditions.
- Implement a maintenance strategic plan to ensure cost effective asset management, long term viability of equipment, and long-term improvement of the maintenance organization to support operations.
- Drive continuous improvement with process modernization and technology to improve and optimize operations while reporting of key metrics.
- Develop and maintain overall site preventative maintenance plans in accordance with industry standards while supporting and improving the onsite CMMS.
- Implement and sustain an overall site contractor management plan defining scope, frequency, and rate negotiation of services while ensuring contractor compliance to EHS requirements.
- Ensure all applicable Federal, State and Local building codes, as well as all applicable Arconic specifications and standards are met and followed for all projects and services performed by the department.

You have: (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (i.e., mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial)
- At least five (5) years’ experience leading Infrastructure projects in an industrial environment.
- 1-3 years’ experience managing and motivating a team in engineering or maintenance discipline.
- Prior experience with AutoCAD and CMMS.
- Experience developing scope of work for projects.
- Experience defining project execution strategy and influencing technical discussions.
- Demonstrated project leadership and systematic engineering with industrial knowledge (e.g., mechanical systems, HVAC, combustion, construction, and fabrication)
