ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute the design and analysis of assigned components or sub-assemblies using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and program requirements
Provide technical guidance that influences outcomes to other people supporting moderate complexity tasks
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned hardware consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Develop action plans, with guidance, to respond to issues/ problems
Recommend, with guidance, the approach to meet the technical and program requirements
Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews with internal and external customers
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors or advanced degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a mechanical design and analysis engineering position, with at least 1 year in composites design
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
Bachelors or advanced degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a composites design and analysis engineering position
PMC Experience preferred
Passion for the aviation industry and advancing the state-of-the-art
Strong communication and collaboration skills in-person and remote
History of building an inclusive culture
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Experience in design, analysis and manufacture of composite components
Proficiency in CAD and CAE tools for design and analysis
