Summary:
Responsible for designing, developing, testing, integrating, troubleshooting, and upgrading software used in Orions electrical ground support equipment.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of computer systems, test and measurement hardware, programming architectures, and information processing techniques to develop robust mission solutions.
This role requires adherence to established standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Expertise in LabVIEW is essential.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a related discipline from an accredited institution.
10 years of relevant professional experience.
Recognized as an emerging authority in the field.
Extensive hands-on experience developing software using LabVIEW, including LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Real-Time, specifically for test and measurement applications.
Proficiency with a wide range of test and measurement equipment, both NI and non-NI (e.g., power supplies, DAQ systems (AI/AO/DIO), DMMs, switches, and relays).
Familiarity with communication protocols such as VISA, TCP, and RS-232/422.
Experience working within Linux OS environments.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
NI LabVIEW Certified Developer or Certified Architect.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply logical thinking and creativity to enhance or troubleshoot software systems.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and contribute to long-term goals and objectives.
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
