As a Senior Advanced NPI APQP Engineer at Honeywell, your role will be crucial in ensuring the successful launch of new products and maintaining high-quality standards. You will be accountable for implementing the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process and overseeing the program from concept to production. Your expertise in program management and APQP will greatly contribute to the success of our NPI projects. In this position, you will have a significant impact on the future of Honeywell by ensuring the successful execution of NPI projects, driving continuous improvement in the APQP process, conducting proactive risk assessment and mitigation, ensuring suppliers meet required quality and delivery standards, and fostering strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
You will work out of our Phoenix, AZ, Plymouth, MN or Clearwater, FL location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100 onsite M-F.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide the implementation of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process for NPI projects, ensuring all deliverables are met within the project timeline.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Supplier and Site Engineering, Manufacturing & Operations, and Quality, to drive the successful product launch.
- Monitor, track, and ensure the completion of supplier APQP requirements related to Early Supplier Engagement (ESE) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Develop and complete the approval of the program-specific APQP Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) checklist document, including submission to customers for approval if necessary.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure the timely completion of APQP activities.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues during the NPI process.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the APQP process, increase efficiency, and improve effectiveness.
- Foster strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure the highest standards of quality and on-time delivery of components and materials.
The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Qualifications
Must Haves:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in program management, specifically in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
