Summary:
Apply modeling, simulation, statistical, and probabilistic analysis tools.
Serve as a technical expert supporting cross-functional design teams throughout the aircraft lifecycle.
Support development and tracking of Technical Performance Measures (TPMs), such as schedule reliability, operational availability, and maintenance costs.
Validate/verify system reliability requirements
Conduct failure modes/effects analysis (FMEA/FMECA) and fault tree analysis (FTA)
Collaborate on architecture assessments, safety certifications, and testing
Evaluate maintainability using digital tools (including VR/AR)
Perform task time analysis
Support TPM guarantees and cost assessments
Work closely with suppliers, program leaders, airline customers, and internal engineering teams
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an ABET-accredited (or similar) program
8+ years of engineering experience
5+ years of reliability engineering experience in commercial aviation
Experience with systems such as propulsion, electrical power, avionics, hydraulics, or flight controls
Proficiency in FTA tools like CAFTA, ReliaSoft, or FaultTree+
Experience integrating FTAs for commercial aircraft
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
