- Ensure effective implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) activities within the Technical Sector.
- Ensure that Engineering & Maintenance personnel report all identified hazards and occurrences.
- Monitor and follow up on the results and outputs of the Aircraft Condition Monitoring System (ACMS).
- Update the RJ risk register to reflect safety risks associated with the Technical Sector (Engineering & Maintenance).
- Review and analyze all reports concerning the Technical Sector to determine the presence of actual safety issues and ensure that appropriate corrective actions are developed and executed by the responsible management.
- Submit all Mandatory Occurrence Reports (related to Engineering & Maintenance) to the Civil Aviation Authority and, where applicable, to the State where the occurrence took place.
- Follow up on the implementation of safety recommendations issued by the Safety Action Group (SAG) and the Safety Review Board (SRB), and verify their completion.
- Actively participate in safety awareness and communication activities within the Technical Sector (Engineering & Maintenance).
- Coordinate and collaborate with external stakeholders, including OEMs and contracted Maintenance Organizations, to address safety issues and align SMS practices.
- Analyze incident reports to identify recurring trends and recommend safety improvements for contracted service providers.
