PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Under supervision - Work directly with Falcon operators/repair centers and coordinate with Dassault Aviation to produce structural repair solutions, modifications to wings, fuselage, skins, fairings, control surfaces, structural attachments, etc.
• Under supervision - Apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria to propose suitable dispositions supported by appropriate data and justifications
• Under supervision - Ensure FAA and EASA requirements by supplying substantiation as needed for repairs or modifications to aircraft structures
• Under supervision - Be the interface with our customers to support the implementation of Dassault Aviation approved modifications and repairs
• Under supervision - Coordinate with internal departments, e.g., Spares, Technical Support, Programs, to ensure efficient management of customers structural repair projects
• Under supervision - Travel as necessary to support Service Centers

NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Work on special projects/additional duties relevant to this job level as assigned by management.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• BS degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

Experience:

• One (1) year of experience supporting technical aspects of an aircraft

Skills and abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in a professional manner (oral and written communication)
• Basic project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively
• Basic technical writing skills
• PC computer and CAD drawing experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, academic knowledge of Finite Element/3D Modeling using CATIA a plus
• Team player with a cooperative and helpful nature
• English language skills required.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with FAR 25 Airworthiness Standards: Transport Category Aircraft and/or MMPDS (formally MIL- Handbook 5)
• French language skills desired
• Pilots and/or A&P license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Internship - Full time position – June through August 2026
• Typical office environment, with
• regular hangar/ramp visits
• Daily use of personal computer, desk and mobile phones
• Ability to lift ten pounds
• Moderate noise levels when on ramps/in hangars
• Ability to access all aircraft structural areas using stands, ladders, stairs, or squatting under wings, fuselage
• Travel as necessary to support Service Centers
