• You will actively support the further development and implementation of purchasing processes in the area of fuel, especially in self-supply approaches and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), and thus gain deep insights into innovative procurement models of the Lufthansa Group

• You will be involved in the analysis and optimization of strategies for the purchase of conventional fuel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF)
• You carry out spanet analyses and benchspans in the area of fuel and research sustainable alternatives for supplying the fleet
• You create presentations and decision papers on topics such as fuel purchasing, self-supply and sustainable aviation fuel and thus support strategic decision-making processes
• You work closely with various colleagues and interfaces in the purchasing organization and actively help shape efficient processes
• You are involved in internal purchasing communication measures and help to promote transparency and knowledge in the area of fuel purchasing and sustainable aviation fuels.

• Enrollment for the entire period of the internship (current enrollment certificate and a written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed) or internship between the Bachelors and Masters degree program (gap year)
• Good analytical skills and a talent for strategic thinking are among your strengths
• You are good at using MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point, and ideally have already gained experience in creating presentations
• You can quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks and concepts
• You are a team player with very good communication and social skills
• You have very good language skills in German and English (written and spoken)
