Logistics Coordinator 

 

Position Summary/Essential Functions: 

Creates, processes, verifies and maintains all incoming and outgoing shipments for returns to Vendor product and Outside Vendor product. 

Responsibilities: 

Creates shipping orders for all Return to Vendor shipments and Outside Vendor product. 

Creates “Y” order shipments for Coventry, MABSQ, and any other requirement to get product moved. 

Working with Trade Compliance to ensure all documents are accurate for customs requirements. 

Supports Traffic Coordinator as needed by coordinating outbound freight for carriers. 

Supports Trade Compliance on License shipment filing and maintain records as required by auditors. 

Supports Order Fulfillment as necessary in order creation and Return Material processing. 

Follows all safety policy and procedures. 

Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped for Trade Compliance. 

Track dispatches and communicate with customers and suppliers regarding delivery concerns. 

Monitors and responds to AOG requirements as needed. 

Prepares packaging instructions per military requirements using Easy Soft software. 

Any other responsibilities assigned as necessary. 

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work overtime based on workload and support needed.  

Creates and monitors shipping of paint and other chemicals as necessary to other plants (hazardous shipping process and requirements). 

 

Qualifications: 

Highschool diploma/GED required. Associate’s degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
