Role Summary
* In this role, you will continuously improve the client’s global trade program through automation, process streamlining, training, risk assessments, etc. The Trade Compliance Sr. Analyst must demonstrate a deep understanding of the various regulations governing global trade and is responsible for reviewing import transactions to ensure compliance with Customs and Participating Government Agency requirements. The Analyst will also assess and pursue opportunities to reduce the client’s annual tariff expenses. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a Bachelor’s Degree.
* Must have 5–7 years of global trade compliance experience.
* Must have experience leading tariff reduction opportunities under special trade programs.
* Must be a well-organized self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
* Must have a demonstrated ability to work through complex issues with team members across departments, levels, and with external customers.
* Must be able to identify training needs and deliver training to fill knowledge gaps.
* Must have superior interpersonal and communication skills.
* Must exercise excellent judgment and discretion.
* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred Skill/Experience
* Would have a Licensed Customs Broker designation.
* Would have experience with SAP, ENOVIA, ACE, or Business Objects. Job Duties/Functions
* Will lead the development and updating of company policies and procedures related to import compliance.
* Will design, document, implement, and maintain systems to qualify products and transactions for tariff reductions under special trade programs.
* Will maintain required records and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Will manage Bell’s Customs brokers and freight forwarders.
* Will perform audits and self-assessments to ensure compliance.
* Will present global trade-related training materials to internal teams.
