About this position: This Analyst, Continuing Airworthiness, Fleet Services position is a senior level technical position which provides front line support to the operator, and the MRO conducting work on the company aircraft. They provide primary liaison support with the OEMs on all technical issues and conduct primary technical reviews of all matters pertaining to continuing airworthiness of the fleet.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Interested candidates should be able to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- Review & assess airworthiness directives & service bulletins, and prepare recommendations including cost benefit analysis.
- Using the company maintenance software (TRAX), setup and maintain airworthiness controls within the maintenance program.
- Write detailed and effective engineering instructions for work to be accomplished on the fleet.
- Set-up of component time constraints in the maintenance software (TRAX),
- Review and approve interchangeability of aircraft parts.
- Provide recommendation for aircraft part upgrades & processes to improve reliability and or reduce spares requirements.
- Provide fleet technical support as required for line & HMV operations
- Attend monthly reliability meetings and represent AD & SB recommendations.
- Liaise with OEMs on technical issues.
- Report accidents, incidents, or safety hazards through the Hazard Occurrence Incident Report (HOIR) system, and perform safety investigations as deemed necessary by the Director of Engineering.
- Comply with the Safety Management System (SMS) reporting program and adhere to the Corporate Safety Policy.

Skills and Qualifications:
Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:
- High School diploma and be a graduate from an approved training program.
- AME license or minimum of five (5) years previous experience in a similar role within the aviation industry.
- Education in Aircraft Maintenance or Engineering Technologist.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance technical writing.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with Transport Category aircraft.
- Experience with Boeing and ATR products considered an asset.
- Must possess thorough understanding of transport category aircraft maintenance regulations, including CARs, Airworthiness Directives, Airworthiness Limitations, etc.
- Must be knowledgeable of aircraft manuals and drawings (SRM, AMM, IPC, CMM, OEM drawings, etc).
- Good working knowledge of Company Maintenance programs is an asset.
- Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Must possess strong computer skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) and TRAX.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and / or in small teams.
- Must possess superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English. Ability to speak in Inuktitut is considered an asset.
- Ability to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.
