Join our team as an A&P Mechanic, where you will perform maintenance in a Part 145 Repair Station, specializing in turbine aircraft such as Citation, Falcon, Textron, Cirrus, and Gulfstream. Your primary duties will involve performing heavy maintenance, including phase and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance and inspections on turbine aircraft.
• Conduct aircraft inspections including annual, 100-hour, and 300-hour checks.
• Ensure compliance with Part 145 Repair Station regulations.
• Utilize tools to perform maintenance and inspections effectively.
• Collaborate with a team of 14 mechanics to complete project-driven tasks.

• Possession of an A&P license.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Experience in heavy maintenance and aircraft inspections.
• Familiarity with Part 145 regulations and MRO operations.

• Experience with turbine engine aircraft is preferred.
• Experience with Citation or King Air aircraft is highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
• Must provide personal tools for maintenance tasks.

Work Environment

Work in a Part 145 hangar environment. Start your day at 8 AM with a team meeting, receive inspection documents, and move from task to task. Enjoy two 15-minute breaks at 10 AM and 2 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. The work is project-driven, and overtime is anticipated at 40 hours, scheduled ahead of time based on project needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manassas, VA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
