Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform maintenance, installation, and repair of aircraft structures and accessories, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to manufacturer specifications. You will work closely with team members to complete tasks accurately and efficiently while supporting a safe and productive work environment. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Must have approximately 4 years of experience related to the job duties.
* FAA Airframe Certification preferred, but not required.
* Must have the ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
* Must have the willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
* Must have own set of tools. Job Duties/Functions
* Will install Bell, Aeronautical Accessories, and other afterspanet kits.
* Will perform major and minor repairs and alterations to aircraft structures, including sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications.
* Will fabricate mounting provisions for avionics installations.
* Will read, interpret, and perform work in accordance with manufacturers’ drawings and instructions consistently and accurately.
* Will measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures without causing damage to the structure or underlying components.
* Will document work performed consistently and accurately.
* Will work on a team to ensure quality and timely completion of aircraft to meet the schedule.
* Will assist with line crew duties as needed.
* Will demonstrate safe work habits and always wear proper PPE.
* Will demonstrate consistent ability to perform most tasks with little to no rework.
* Will perform other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements
* Will lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and team lift up to 50 lbs.
* Will perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders, and work stands.
* Will stand for extended periods during the entire duration of the shift.
* Will demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
* Will have flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
* Will maintain good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
