Job Title: Structures Mechanic
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Structures Mechanic to perform inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft structures, including fuselage, wings, and control surfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of FAA regulations and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft structures, including fuselage, wings, and control surfaces.
- Utilize technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventive measures to ensure aircraft structural integrity.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve structural issues.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in structural repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Skills- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic on general aviation aircraft.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 2 years of corporate jet or King Air experience required.
- Experience with Citation, Hawker, Lear Jet is a bonus.
- Avionics experience is a bonus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smyrna, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
