Role Overview:

  • Identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies in delivery processes and implementing solutions to improve performance.

  • Lead problem solving activities and kaizen events to identify root cause of issues, waste, streamline workflows, and enhance value delivery.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, prioritize improvement opportunities, and implement solutions.

  • Drive initiatives to improve Delivery metrics, ensuring on-time delivery, output and meeting customer expectations and at the same monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery, such as on-time delivery rates, lead times, and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor and report progress against Delivery goals, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.

  • Lead transformational change efforts across the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Build relationships across teams and departments to ensure alignment and collective problem-solving.

  • Ensuring clear communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding delivery timelines and expectations.

  • Identifying potential risks in the delivery process and developing mitigation strategies. Working closely with teams such as supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure alignment and smooth operations

The Ideal Candidate:

  • An experienced candidate is a results-oriented leader who prioritizes delivery (keeping Safety and Quality paramount), excels in lean principles and continuous improvement, and is dedicated to enhancing quality, delivery, and cost efficiency. The candidate should delivery-focused strategist with exceptional leadership abilities and expertise in supply chain and operations management.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.

  • Proven 5 to 7 years of experience in lean manufacturing and process optimization.

  • Strong knowledge of value stream mapping and problem-solving tools such as APPS and PSR.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable results in Delivery performance and turnaround time.

  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and facilitation skills.

  • Ability to build relationships across an enterprise and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or delivery optimization roles.

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with GE Aerospaces FLIGHT DECK operating model.

  • Experience in aerospace or manufacturing industries.

  • Knowledge of safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) principles, with a focus on Delivery as a priority.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SAP)

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

  • Achieve 60-day TAT for future state value stream map.

  • Deliver measurable improvements in Delivery performance (Output and TAT)
