Purpose of Position
The Director, Treasurer will manage and direct the Treasury, Risk and Master Data departments of FlightSafety International. This leader is responsible for timely and accurate postings and analysis of revenue and expense transactions within the general ledger and financial statements, monitoring of departmental budgets.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for FlightSafety International Operational Treasury and Risk functions, including development and implementation of policies, internal controls, and financial reporting processes.
- Lead and manage all banking, credit and collection agency relationships.
- Lead team to oversee cash position daily and responsible for any debt or credit needs of the company.
- Work closely with Finance leaders to provide accurate cash forecasting.
- Identify, implement, and manage improvement projects to streamline the operations and efficiencies within the department.
- Ensure a high-performing team through effective, timely performance management, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Main point of contact for all insurance policies, and relationship with insurance broker.
- Identify, implement, and manage improvement projects to streamline the efficiencies within the department.
- Support with month and quarter-end reporting as needed.
