Job Title: Flight Operations ManagerJob Description
The Flight Operations Manager is tasked with overseeing aviation operations, ensuring customer service excellence and revenue performance. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of Flight Support to ensure safety, compliance, and service excellence.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members; provide regular coaching, support, and discipline when needed.
- Monitor operational and performance metrics; identify and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Create and enforce department structure, policies, and practices in alignment with company goals to support overall strategic targets.
- Write, revise, and maintain department policies, SOPs, training manuals, and best practices to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and operational consistency.
- Ensure adequate operational coverage across all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide continuous coaching, feedback, and professional development support to team members.
- Analyze department performance data, identify process gaps, and implement corrective actions and strategic improvements.
- Work closely with higher leadership to set KPIs, streamline processes, and support business growth.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their preferences and needs are met with precision and discretion.
- Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and provide resolution in a timely manner.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration between sales, scheduling, flight crews, owner team, compliance, and other key departments.
- Stay informed on FAA regulations, industry standards, economic trends, and competitive landscape.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations, ICAO, and company procedures/policies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent aviation operations experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role at a Part 135 or Part 121 operation.
- FAA Part 121 Aircraft Dispatch Certificate is required.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Extensive experience in aviation logistics, aircraft performance, flight planning, and international trip setup.
- Exceptional communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of handling high-pressure situations.
- Must pass TSA/DHS BG check.
- Willingness to be available and support 24/7 operational environment.

Work Environment
This is not a remote position and is based in Las Vegas, NV. Candidates must be able to stand/sit for long periods and be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
