Safety Action Groups (SAG) and within the Safety Services Office (SSO).
• Represents the organization on government, international organizations, and industry committees (e.g., IATA, CAA, etc.)
• Analyzes technical data related to hazards, events, and occurrences for trends. Process management • Effectively utilizes applicable processes and procedures to complete roles and responsibilities.
• Investigates opportunities to increase process efficiency.
• Measures the effectiveness and seeks to continually improve the quality of processes.
Responsibilities :
(a)The position requires the ability to cope with changing circumstances and situations with little supervision.
The safety manager acts independently of other managers within the organization.
(b) The safety manager is responsible for providing information and advice to senior management and the Accountable Executive on matters relating to safe operations. Tact, diplomacy, and a high degree of integrity are prerequisites.
(c) The job requires flexibility as assignments may be undertaken with little or no notice and outside normal work hours.
