Job overview and responsibilities
The Manager – Tooling Long-Term Planning is responsible for leading a team of analysts that provide a strategic tooling allocation plan for each station using AI and other advanced forecasting techniques based on overall maintenance mission and fleet departure schedule. Manager will also responsible for supporting their senior manager preparing funding proposals, monitoring tooling MNE forecasts and tracking allocation plan performances, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Oversees the review and validation of system-level tooling requirements provided by Forecasting group and presents feedback to fine-tune models
- Leads the consolidation and development of station-level allocation recommendations using AI and advanced forecasting techniques, and supports his analysts in working with Tooling Planners to create long-term allocations and provide guidance on short-term procurement plans
- Directs his analysts in creating financial analyses based on tooling allocation plans to support development of budget proposals and preparation of AFEs required to fund in-scope projects
- Makes recommendations to his leaders that will help improve the quality and timeliness of station-level allocations (e.g. Tooling OOS events, missed allocation opportunities)
- Drives continuous improvement efforts to further improve and streamline processes and forecast/plan performances
- Supports direct reports in their development and growth, ensuring that they have the resources and training to effectively fulfill their responsibilities, and removes roadblocks that hinder their effectiveness

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):- Bachelors degree in supply chain, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering
- Data analysis and visualization software (Foundry, Tableau, Spotfire or similar); SQL; Excel
- 6+Years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Data Analytics
- Experience leading small group of analysts tasked with evaluating large data sets to drive strategic recommendations
- Very strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated use of AI and other learning algorithm techniques
- Understanding of forecasting, data structures, relationships, and efficient transformations
- Knowledge and application of data visualization best practices
- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
