Job overview and responsibilities
- Manage all facets of planning the inflight crew scheduling workforce including resource planning and optimization, performance management, and process improvement to ensure proper staffing and production levels are maintained to meet Service Level Agreements
- Partner with leadership and training to identify hiring, staffing, training and communication needs that will drive operational and/or customer service improvements
- Implement call center best practices into the crew scheduling operating model
- Responsible for architecting, implementing, managing the integrated workforce management strategy, plans, and processes to staff and support the inflight crew scheduling operation that comprises local on-site schedulers, global offshore resources, opportunistic cross-training surge capacity
- Develop and implement workforce management performance metrics including performance management processes ensuring crew scheduling leadership can objectively assess, manage, coach and recognize crew scheduler performance and behavior
- Develop and innovate systems and processes involved in the workforce management process
- Lead internal and external partnership relationships around resource management including serving as the responsible business lead with finance for budget and headcount needs and own relationship with IGT partners
- Partner with peer Training Manager to design, develop, and institute a service culture that positions schedulers to deliver a “Global Services”-like service level experience to flight attendants
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):- Bachelors degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Finance, business, Economics, Operations Management or related field
- 4+ years of experience in relevant role
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions
- Proactive, forward-thinking and passionate about operations
- Address challenges directly in a constructive manner in order to resolve issues quickly
- Strong ability to work with a variety of personality types
- Superior written and verbal communication skills are a must
- Must welcome responsibility, challenge, and decision-making
- Advanced or intermediate proficiencies in: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook required
- Strategic thinker who can contribute to an operations strategy while also being tactical and hands-on in the rollout of operational initiatives
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Flexible, adaptable and able to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):- Masters degree
- 3-5 years of management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading individuals and/or teams
- Workforce Management Systems (i.e., Nice IEX, Verint, Aspect)

The base pay range for this role is $99,750.00 to $135,960.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
