Program Leadership:
- Lead the development of cutting-edge control system designs for military applications.
- Drive the team through all phases of the product lifecycle, including design, verification, and qualification.
- Ensure alignment with program objectives, technical requirements, and customer expectations.
Cross-Functional Team Management:
- Coordinate and lead a multidisciplinary Controls team, including hardware component designers and software developers.
- Foster collaboration and communication across teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software development efforts.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, leveraging a strong background in control systems and project management.
- Oversee the development and implementation of innovative solutions to meet program challenges.
Strategic Influence:
- Shape technical and program strategies to ensure successful execution and delivery of program milestones.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with broader program goals and customer needs.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to address technical or schedule challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in controls engineering
- Strong background in control systems design, development, and integration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through hardware and/or software development processes.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- This role requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. citizenship.
