If so, Collins Aerospace is hiring for a S4 Hana Program Management Director to join the Process & Systems Transformation team.  This is part of a OneRTX initiative to harmonize key business processes, data, associated tools and metrics across RTX, while deploying a common enterprise resource management platform – SAP’s S4 HANA. The result will be a common user experience across the businesses, real-time visibility into critical data, and automation of manual tasks to enable all employees to focus on value-add activities. 

The strategic definition and design phase has primarily concluded and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases.

Reporting to Vice President Business Leader – Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Transformation, you’ll be the ideal candidate if you have experience working within Aerospace & Defense with very strong project management skills that cover data, process, and system transformation across numerous functions, systems, and SBUs in a highly matrix organization. Travel will be required based on proximity to key locations and the frequency of project workshops.

** This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote. **

What YOU will do:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed Collins Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that can meet both the RTX and Collins specific program deliverables.  This will include a detailed annual plan as well- and rough-cut program planning over the next 3-5 years.

  • Ability to lead in a highly matrix environment and ensuring various project teams and leaders are being held accountable for their deliverables through regular operating cadences, problem resolution, collaborative solutions, and coordination across the cross-functional project team.

  • Ability to conduct resource and capacity planning through design, development, testing, training, deployment, and hyper-care phases of the project.

  • Directs all project phases from initial assessment to post implementation. Ensures the project is executed according to the project schedule, budget and scope.

  • Identify and mitigate risks, close project gaps, and ensure a successful, sustainable implementation. Manage and coordinate support staff.   

  • Manage and lead the Change management and communication support staff and  take in account required actions and lead times in developing a risk adjusted capable schedule.

  • A change agent who leads and facilitate improvements with businesses to completion, including resolution and organizational buy-in for policy changes.  

  • Ability to work with, interact, communicate, and build relationship with various levels within the organization across Collins and the broader RTX organization. 

Qualifications you must have:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 18 years of relevant experience.

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years’ experience.

  • Demonstrated experience and success managing a large project/program. PMO certified preferred.

  • A combination of ERP systems experiences and detailed knowledge of business processes.

  • Experience leading large, cross functional projects. Ability to influence people to achieve a common objective. 

  • Must be okay with 50 travel.

The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
