Summary:
Install aircraft structural parts and assemblies such as landing gear, control surfaces, exterior panels, carpets, blankets, roller trays/ball mats, stowbins, sidewalls, ceiling panels, lavatories, galleys, doors, and seats.
Install various aircraft system components including tubing, valves, regulators, actuators, compressors, and ducts.
Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdrivers, multimeters, and continuity testers.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required; vocational school/Associate degree or higher preferred.
7+ years of experience in aviation or aerospace.
7+ years of experience using software applications such as internet navigation, email, Microsoft Office, or other specialized programs.
7+ years of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English.
7+ years of experience in a technical or mechanical field using hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
7+ years of experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system design.
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
Ability to perform physical activities including bending, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, climbing/balancing, reaching overhead, twisting, and head/neck rotation.
Ability to carry/lift up to 35 lbs.
Ability to work safely with high-hazard chemicals.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
