Role Summary
* In this role, you will support the assembly and testing of electrical and mechanical systems for aerospace applications. You will perform wiring, harness work, machining, and system checks while working hands-on with tools, adhesives, and hardware. This position offers training to build your technical skills and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where safety and quality come first. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
* Must have a minimum of 1 year of related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical methods with a technical background (does not require years of experience, but must show eagerness to learn and grow in this field).
* Must be technically savvy with hands-on experience using tools, machines, wires, and adhesives.
* Must be adaptable, flexible, and eager to learn.
* Must have electrical experience (Qty: 3): harness work, wire stripping, re-pinning, torque wrenches, power screwdrivers, hardware installation, and shielded wire work ORhave mechanical experience (Qty: 1): drill guns, drilling through hardware, and installing brackets.
* Must be able to complete an eye exam (required for electrical specialists). Job Duties/Functions
* Will be performing machine set-up, machining, wiring, and electrical system checks.
* Will be assembling, repairing, modifying, and installing wire harnesses and avionics products.
* Will be preparing test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to support testing activities.
* Will be carrying out basic mechanical and electrical preparation tasks and verifications.
* Will be utilizing hand and power tools, adhesives, and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
* Will be collaborating with team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
* Will be receiving on-the-job training in assigned areas (training typically lasts 3–4 weeks, depending on prior experience). Physical Requirements
* Must be able to wear safety glasses; mask requirements may apply depending on the assigned work area.
* Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
* Must be able to qualify to wear a harness for fall protection (350 lbs weight limit applies, including tools and PPE).
* Crane certification will be available post-start if desired (not required to be hired).
