•Trim to Fit & Customization: Precisely trim, shape, and fit components to meet unique design requirements, demonstrating advanced customization skills for complex assemblies. Adapt fabrication techniques to accommodate varying materials and design
•Material Handling: Working with materials like adhesives, resins, honeycomb core, carpet, fiberglass, and aluminum, cutting, laying out, and processing them.
•Component Installation: Installing fittings like latches, hinges, and brackets, and preparing panels for adhesive application
•Finishing: Apply decorative finishes, perform complex bending and assembly using jigs and fixtures, and create high-quality vinyl laminate layups tailored to each projects unique specifications and product combinations
•Tool Operation: Utilizing various shop power tools, including routers, table saws, band saws, drill presses, pneumatic tools, rivet guns, specialty grinders, and other fabrication equipment
•Quality Control: Conducting visual checks, in-process rework, and maintaining records
•Troubleshooting: Identify fabrication and assembly challenges proactively, applying strong problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective solutions that maintain product integrity and schedule

•Level 2: 2 to 5 years of manufacturing experience, with proficiency in interpreting, authoring, and executing assembly and component test requirements. Handles articles of moderate complexity, working alongside leads or managers to resolve issues. Supports customer First Article Inspections (FAI) and independently addresses fabrication and quality concerns. Develops and understands manufacturing process steps to fabricate and assemble customized products. Applies strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and improve processes. Begins coaching and developing Level 1 assemblers, sharing knowledge and best practices to support team growth.
•Level 3: 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, demonstrating advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude and knowledge.
