About the Role
Qatar Airways (QR) have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers. As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for the role of Cargo Sales Executive based on site at our ORD Cargo Offices. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing Qatar Airways Cargo’s larger SME freight forwarder accounts within the assigned territory. You will focus on driving revenue, improving yield, and strengthening long-term customer relationships. Most account management activities will be conducted via phone and email. You will also work to grow the largest SME customers into fully developed local accounts.
Job Specific Skills: ▪ Phone and email handling of customers experience.▪ Experience in negotiating▪ Experience in Cargo airline sales.▪ Good understanding of QR Cargo’s systems and interpretation of available data.▪ Able to spot and interpret spanet trends.▪ PC literate with knowledge of Word/PowerPoint/Excel.▪ Influencing skills in order to deal with internal and external customers.
