Gloucesters Facilities Service Operator performs a vital role within Safrans ability to ensure all Site infrastructure and Systems are performing as expected to meet site requirements. These systems support the Heating of Workplaces and Water Treatment Processes.

Job Requirements:

What will I be doing?

Principle Responsibilities:
•\tMaintain the safe operation of the main industrial steam boilers and all steam plant and equipment in accordance with site procedure and regulations.
•\tTreatment of trade effluent in accordance with site procedure and regulations.
•\tOperation and control of the electro plating swill water-recycling plants.
•\tTesting and lab analysis of treated effluent.
•\tSampling of surface and process water.
•\tSafely isolate steam & condensate, gas, compressed air and water.
•\tDiagnose faults on mechanical services.
•\tServicing of mechanical services.
•\tTooling and equipment inspections.
•\tHealth and Safety General Planned Inspections (GPI).
•\tStock control.
•\tSpill response and to be chemically aware.
•\tBasic administrative duties.

What do I need to succeed in the role?

Technical Competencies required:
•\tKnowledge of plant maintenance and servicing requirements.
•\tBOAS trained desirable but training can be provided.
•\tKnowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental issues relating to plant maintenance.
•\tForklift truck operation desirable but training can be provided.
•\tAnalytical skills.
•\tContinuous improvement.
•\tConfident using Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Outlook.
•\tFirst aid trained desirable.
•\tExcellent Communicator.
•\tKnowledge problem solving techniques.
