Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a HR & Workplace Chief of Staff to join our HR & Workplace Leadership Team (HR & WP LT) based in Herndon, VA.
In this role you will be responsible to the Vice President of Human Resources to ensure that the VP of HR & Workplace and the HR & WP LT are delivering on Human Resources & Workplace regional priorities. You are primarily responsible for long-term planning, prioritizing, organizing, and executing on the HR & Workplace team strategy and goals. Assisting in the integration of HR & WP reporting and accountabilities into the region, as well as the integration into the global HR & WP function in Europe is critical to success in the role.

Your Challenges:
Manage HR Leadership Communication and Announcements
Maintain confidentiality and use a high degree of discretion while preparing correspondence and presentations for the VP of HR
Create content for HR leadership communications and maintain HR VP Blog
Support bi-weekly HRLT & Workplace reporting process ensuring updates are completed timely d. Manage activities required by the HR International team and acts as a point of contact (POC) for the HR & Workplace teams in Europe
Act as a liaison to the CEO&39;s office to facilitate completion of required activities and reporting requirements around the regional strategy and objectives
Maintain a master schedule of upcoming milestones. Examples include but are not limited to: Quarterly Functional Reviews (QFR), Audits, People Tempo, HRLT Workshops, Employee Engagement and Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging activities
Foster and maintain relationship across the One Roof functions to ensure open lines of communication
Manage projects to support the HR & Workplace Leadership team to meet strategic objectives
Manage HR strategy documentation and presentation and act as the POC for the regional strategy team b. Audit and report out on completion of HR Top Company objectives and Leadership level goal coordination and tracking
Support and lead projects related to HR & Workplace initiatives on an ad hoc basis
Organize and manage HR and Workplace offsites, team boosters, employees townhalls and other physical or virtual regional events
Budget Coordination and Management
Manage HR budget and financial reporting, act as the point of contact for Finance
Meet monthly with the HO HR&39;s to track spending and ensure timely payment of purchase orders
Meeting and Reporting Management
Collect pertinent Operational and Financial data in support of the CEO&39;s QFR
Support Quarterly Risk and opportunity information collection and reporting
Collect agenda items for the weekly HR & Workplace meetings; take and prepare minutes for distribution. Represent the VP of HR at events/meetings as necessary
Provide support and coordination for HR & Workplace Leadership events and offsite meetings
Collate data from key knowledge holders to monitor the compliance of HR & Workplace mandatory E&C, and training related to Top Company Objectives

Your Boarding Pass:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or combination of education and appropriate work experience.
10 years of progressive experience as an HRBP or a support function.
Experience working in a multi-functional international environment
A strong understanding of the rhythm of Human resources and/or Finance projects and deliverables
Ability to utilize project management skills to generate structured, business oriented solutions
Experience with HRIS tools like ADP, Workday or SAP

Sitting: Daily able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer.
Squatting / Kneeling: Several times a month able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
Standing: Daily able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor.
Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. Once a month
Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): Daily able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
