Intern – Manufacturing

Job Description:

Methods Intern will help the Manufacturing department with various projects.

Summary of Duties:
•tCreate, review and revise technical documents such as Test Plans, Test Reports, Assembly Instructions, Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and General Procedures.
•tWork closely with OEM/MRO technicians.
•tAssist with inventory management and procuring.
•tWork with 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
•tProvide Methods support to OEM/MRO as needed.
•tParticipate in regular OEM/MRO meetings as required.
•tPerforms other duties as assigned.
•tTroubleshoot and work as a member of the team to solve problems.

Job Requirements:

Education: Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in a technical field of study such as mechanical, electrical, material science, industrial or aerospace engineering as a junior or senior level student.

Knowledge & Skills:
•\tStrong written and oral communication skills.
•\tWorking knowledge of CAD software, CREO Parametric preferred.
•\tFamiliarity with safe operation of basic hand tools and equipment.
•\tAcquire an understanding manufacturing, quality and engineering processes through on the job training.
•\tAttention to detail
•\tExcellent problem solving skills.
•\tProficiency in MS Office software.
•\tWorking knowledge of LabVIEW preferred.
