Position Summary
This role offers a starting base wage of $20.50 per hour with an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential for a total of $22.50 per hour. The Braider Machine Operator sets up, operates, and maintains braiding lines according to charts and specifications to meet production rates and quality standards. This role performs continuous visual and dimensional inspections using micrometers and calipers, records product and process parameters, and completes accurate job documentation. The operator also performs basic equipment repairs, assists maintenance for major fixes, and packages product (cartons, spools, pallets) per job instructions, while remaining flexible to perform equal or lower‑level tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
Operate line, maintaining proper speeds, adjustments, etc., to ensure a quality product and production rates.
Complete all necessary records, reports, etc., as required, giving particular attention to proper part number, job number and quantity per pallet or reel.

- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to read, write, understand English language
- Add, subtract, and basic math operations.
- Follow simple diagram and specific written instructions.
- Our manufacturing roles do have some minimum physical requirements; standing for 8+ hours, ability to wear PPE (safety shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, safety vests, and gloves), the ability to hear audible warnings and indicators, ability to perform repetitive motions including use of hands to bend tubing & connect hose assemblies, sorting items by size shape and color, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and occasionally lifting objects up to 45 pounds.
