MANUFACTURING ENGINEER H/M

Job Description:

Define and standardize processes through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools to improve the production of a certain business unit.

1. Define and standardize work methods by creating flow diagrams and / or human-machine analysis to reduce variation and improve process flow.

2. Document production processes using standard worksheets (SOPs) and operations instructions to ensure that the operator follows the work methods defined for the process.

3. Analyze and balance the capacity of the production lines using time analysis tools and demand projection to ensure compliance with the production plan in the short and medium term.

4. Design workstations using ergonomic principles and method engineering to improve workstations and avoid repetitive motion sickness problems.

5. Identify and execute continuous improvement projects using lean manufacturing tools and techniques and standard work to improve the organizations profitability.

6. Give support in the process of transfer or start of a production line defining BOMs, SOPs, flows and process routes to ensure the introduction of new product operations.

7. Participate in Kaizen projects of the OPEX (Operational Excellence) department, forming part of the team in the Kaizen week and contributing with ideas for process improvements to generate projects with high organizational impact.

8. Define and maintain the BOMs and operation routes, validating the design materials list with the general matrix to ensure that the process and product comply with what is established in the development stage.
9. Solve process problems by performing root cause analysis of process problems for continuous process improvement.

10. Perform the other functions inherent to the position according to the needs of the company to meet the established goals of the organization.

11. Comply with safety, hygiene and environment programs and policies, with a preventive and training approach that prevents occupational accidents and diseases, improves working conditions, and reduces environmental impacts.

Job Requirements:

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or related Engineering.

- Lean certification (Desirable).

WORK EXPERIENCE

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.

MACHINERY/EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE:

- Intermediate-Advanced use of Microsoft Office software.

- CAD/CAM designing (Desirable).

- Manufacturing process designing (Desirable).
