2nd Shift GrinderJob Description
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Grinder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in grinding, machining, CNC operations, and using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and perform shop fabrication tasks.
Work Environment
This position operates on the 2nd shift from 4:00pm to 12:30am, Monday through Friday. Initial training will be on the 1st shift for 60-90 days, followed by a transition to the 2nd shift with a $1.50 shift differential. The work environment is a non-climate-controlled metal fabrication shop, requiring comfort in a manufacturing setting. You will be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, fumes, odors, and temperature variations. The role involves moving around the facility and occasional moderate lifting of parts and materials weighing from 5lbs to 75lbs. A physical, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection (provided), and safety glasses (provided) are required.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
