Reporting directly to a Production Line Manager, you will also collaborate with the Repair Technician-Leader of your production line. You are involved in repair production activities. Your main tasks/activities will be to maintain, repair, calibrate, and test aviation equipment (buoyancy devices, rafts, evacuation slides, oxygen equipment, and their sub-assemblies, etc.) with the standards in force, such as:
• Handling Repair Orders according to instructions.
•tRepairing according to the required standard.
•tUsing only the industrial means and procedures specified in the schedule/CMM.
•tReporting any deviations from the standards to the Support staff.
•tPreparing shop findings reports (SFR) and repair reports (RR).
•tConducting the final inspection of repaired assemblies.
•tVerifying the airworthiness directives before releasing equipment.
•tEnsuring that repair documentation/files are properly prepared.

You will analyse a failure/reason for a customer return and repair the equipment under the conditions defined by the CMM (Component Maintenance Manual), SB, SIL, and MPTA maintenance documents in force or by the manufacturing file, respecting the regulations in force, the quality, safety/environment, and lead-times requirements.

In the case of APRS accreditation, the following activities must be covered:
•tInspecting products and associated file physically.
•tPerforming configuration checks against the maintenance manual: IPL (Illustrated Part List), AD (Airworthiness Directives), and SB (Service Bulletin).
•tIdentifying gaps and having them addressed.
•tChecking that the equipment is on the capability list for the acreditation requested by the customer.
•tPreparing the navigability attestation.
•tProducing accompanying documents.
•tArchiving copies of release documents with the file.
•tKeeping a record of equipment undergoing final inspection / blocked awaiting information, and follow the associated actions.
