In order to support Airframe Engineering, Airbus Operation is looking for a
Stress Responsible for Floor Panels (d/f/m)Be part of a committed team of development engineers in the fuselage structure perimeter (R&T Projects, System Installation, Customer Support, Primary and Secondary Structure) taking care of the technical steering of projects for the incremental development of the whole Wide Body and Single Aisle Family.
Your main focus will be on Composite topics (Floor Panel Stress) with a varied and widely spread spectrum of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilitiesPerform structure feasibility studies for composite and hybrid structures according to validated methods.
Support design office, test department, manufacturing and airlines with stress evaluations up to certification.
Check compliance to regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines.
Manage development projects - internally and subcontracted (Time, Cost & Quality).
Ensure knowledge transfer and support the development of new employees, creation of training documents as well as deployment and implementation of new ways of working, tools and processes.
Desired skills and qualificationsEngineering Degree
Several years of experience in structure analysis (including hand calculations & Finite-Elemente-Method) within the aviation industry
Toolset experience: Altair Hyperworks, Nastran as well as basics of Catia
Project management fundamentals
Competency for a Technical Approver Delegation
Ability to adapt your communication with different (internal and external) stakeholders.
Open and curious mindset, practical and agile approach, open-minded for new ways of working
Fluency in English
Willingness to travel frequently (mostly within Germany)
