Job overview and responsibilities
- To develop, implement and coordinate between Continental Airlines Cargo and select key customers a mutually agreed upon strategy for aggressive revenue growth
- Serve as the designated representative for assigned accounts and building global key influence relationships, dealing with customers’ highest buying levels and coordinate sales and service activities at all levels
- Relationships / Revenue Generation
- Develop strategies to increase sales, penetration and margins with assigned accounts and develop and maintain relationships with identified decision makers at accounts
- This process is to be facilitated through regular sales calls
- Accountability
- Establish call plans and joint call plans with manager and be accountable for monitoring performance against goals and plans, and implementing corrective action when necessary
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, product and service commitments
- Planning / Strategy
- Define strategies and processes to enable themselves to meet/exceed goals and targets for freight revenue and contribution
- Work closely with Inside Sales Representatives to ensure territory sales vision, strategies, plans and goals are uniformly developed and executed
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Microsoft office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- 2+ years sales experience with direct customer contact
- Must be legally authorized to work in Japan for any employer without sponsorship
- Must have permanent residency in Japan
- Must be fluent in English and Japanese (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
