Job Title: Sales Support Executive – CargoLocation: ORD Cargo Offices, Chicago, Illinois
About the RoleAs part of Qatar Airways Cargo, you will be joining the world’s leading air cargo carrier and contributing to our continued success in the Americas region. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting Sales Managers, Account Managers, and Regional Product Managers in their daily commercial activities. You will ensure that all sales processes and operational tasks are executed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with Qatar Airways Cargo standards.
You will act as a sales process expert—supporting global and local account activities, keeping sales systems updated, managing quotation requests, and ensuring that all actions are completed in a timely and professional manner. This position is critical to supporting revenue‑generating activities and maintaining strong commercial performance across the region.
Key Responsibilities (Operational)
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) for sales operations functions established to ensure alignment with QR Cargos global sales and sales operations principles.
Act as product knowledge expert for sales support tasks, supporting in more complex tasks.
Assist Senior Account Managers with their queries and escalations to ensure efficiency and quality services.
Maintain and generate reports as required by the reporting Line Manager.
Be the primary person following up on internal questions related to sales management tools, input, and reports.
Support the sales team in maintaining an up-to-date database of trade partners within the region.
Provide line managers and regional management with regular reporting on key departmental performance metrics and outstanding issues.
Able to work with sales tools such as Power BI, Salesforce, WACD data, and similar platforms.
Assist the local Cargo Manager and the sales team with client relationship management, including preparing proposals, supporting documentation, and data.
Support regional and global sales initiatives by coordinating activities, tracking deliverables, and communicating status updates.
Guide new joiners in QR processes and policies to ensure smooth operations within the department. Receive and
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
Receive and prepare all quotation requests coming from the accounts in your territory.
Provide quotations and follow up on materialization when the customer accepts.
Manage Salesforce input related to all quotation requests.
Experience in any of the following fields: sales support, group sales, tariffs, distribution, or business analysis.
Job Specific Skills
PC literate with very good knowledge of MS Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
