• Lead the sales process from opportunity identification through contract award—including pipeline management, bid and proposal development, and contract negotiation.
• Utilize CRM tools to maintain up-to-date records of contacts, opportunities, and bookings forecasts.
• Recommend capture strategies for key opportunities to maximize win probability and long-term spanet share.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, contracts, and leadership) to align solutions with customer requirements and ensure successful proposal submissions.
• Monitor competitive landscape and spanet trends; communicate insights to leadership to inform strategic planning.
• Prepare regular reports on sales activities, spanet developments, customer feedback, and competitor actions.
• Represent Crane at industry events, tradeshows, and customer meetings to promote brand visibility and generate leads.
• Support the achievement of regional and corporate bookings, revenue, and profitability goals.
• Manage sales expenses effectively in alignment with company budgets and guidelines.

• Proven track record of developing customer relationships and securing new business in highly engineered product spanets.
• Strong understanding of sales processes, opportunity qualification, pipeline management, and contract negotiation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft effective proposals, presentations, and business correspondence.
• Ability to interact effectively with customers, regulatory agencies, and senior leadership.
