And through valued customer feedback, optimized partnerships, and innovative sales strategies, Sales continues to be the largest revenue-generating department at United.
Key Responsibilities:The Senior Analyst – Deal Desk provides the analytical support and strategic design of corporate programs and interacts daily with the frontline sales teams. They use sales, booking, revenue and ticket data to generate meaningful insights on performance of the sales portfolio, at an account level, route/geography level or in various aggregations. This individual collaborates with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Network, PRM, JV partners) to ensure programs are delivered successfully from initiation through implementation.
- Work directly with United’s sales account managers to strategize, design, negotiate and implement corporate programs
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand objectives and operational needs
- Ad hoc analytical support to corporate sales account managers and leadership team
- Support pricing analytics for packaged B2C offers
Note: This position provides for a hybrid work arrangement with in-office requirements up to 50 of the time in Chicago, IL.
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- 3+ years of experience in evaluation and analysis of B2C programs
- Experience in strategy, design, analytics, and implementation of B2C programs
- Strong knowledge of airline corporate products
- Proven successful in contributing to teamwork resolving complicated B2C negotiations
- Experience with data querying capabilities such as SQL, Python, SAS, R
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be a team focused, collaborative individual
- Attention to detail, decisive decision-making, and a passion for continuous improvement
- Effective time management for multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $103,966.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
